The wolves in the Walls is a gem.
The story doesn’t quite feel original but that is ok, because it is borrowing from fairy tale. What sets this book apart is that it has style. The writing is lyrical and occasionally funny.
The art is gorgeous and unique. Envokes in me thoughts of cubism. Even the text is done in different sizes, fonts and styles, making the words an emotional experience in themselves.
The style of this book is dark (that’s the way I like my books) but I wouldn’t call it scary.
FIVE out of FIVE stars!
